IP Litigator Leaves Fenwick & West To Join Morgan Lewis

Law360, New York (March 31, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- Days after winning a $400 million settlement for Compuware in its lawsuit against IBM, litigator Daniel Johnson, Jr. has left West Coast IP specialist Fenwick & West to join the San Francisco offices of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius as a partner.

Johnson was recruited to Morgan, Lewis through partner Franklin "Brock" Gowdy, according to the Recorder.

Before heading to Fenwick & West, he spent 25 years at Cooley Godward and served as a state deputy attorney general from 1973 to 1976.
