Costs Don't Have To Affect Medicaid Rates: Calif. Court

Law360, New York (March 27, 2012, 3:53 PM EDT) -- The Medicaid Act doesn't generally require states to consider provider costs in setting reimbursement rates, a California appeals court found Monday in a dispute over rates for home health services, despite a contrary ruling by the Ninth Circuit on a similar matter.
