Court Rules NY Medicaid Boost For Psychiatry Ended In '07

Law360, New York (March 29, 2012, 6:36 PM EDT) -- New York's highest court on Thursday ruled that a 2006 amendment to the Social Services Law granting coinsurance enhancement to psychiatrists who treat patients eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid applied to only a single year, overturning a lower court ruling that the reimbursements should continue indefinitely.
