RV Groups Take Fight With Forest Service To High Court

Law360, New York (March 29, 2012, 6:18 PM EDT) -- Nine recreational vehicle advocacy groups asked the U.S. Supreme Court last week to determine whether the Ninth Circuit had inappropriately overturned their win in a lawsuit against the U.S. Forest Service over the need for further environmental review in a Montana national forest.

In October, the Ninth Circuit reversed a lower court ruling and held that the Forest Service did not have to supplement its environmental review even though it restricted recreational vehicle use more than it had indicated it would.
