Lemko Says Insurers Must Cover Motorola Trade Secrets Suit

Law360, New York (March 30, 2012, 10:39 PM EDT) -- Communications software company Lemko Corp. launched a suit Friday in Illinois alleging its insurers illegally denied coverage for a suit claiming ex-Lemko engineers used proprietary information to develop cellphone network software for Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc.

Lemko sued Federal Insurance Co. and Cincinnati Insurance Co. in state court when the companies refused to pay up for an Illinois federal suit alleging a dozen former Motorola employees stole its proprietary communications technologies.
