Dutch Co. Says RIM's BlackBerry Violated Circuit Patents

Law360, New York (April 3, 2012, 2:09 PM EDT) -- Research In Motion Ltd. was sued in Florida federal court on Tuesday by a Dutch semiconductor manufacturer that accused the BlackBerry maker of infringing several patents through the sale of its wireless BlackBerry devices and other products.

NXP BV said in its complaint against the Canadian telecommunications company that RIM has infringed NXP patents related to circuitry used in wireless communications.
