Anti-Theft Device Co. Faces Suit Over Carcinogen Levels

Law360, New York (April 3, 2012, 3:51 PM EDT) -- A consumer protection group on Monday hit the maker of The Club steering wheel lock with a lawsuit in California, claiming it failed to warn consumers about carcinogens in its products.

Consumer Advocacy Group Inc. accused Winner International Inc. and 20 unnamed defendants of violating the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, better known as Proposition 65.
