Dewey Exodus Continues As DLA Piper Snags 4 M&A Pros

Law360, New York (April 3, 2012, 7:33 PM EDT) -- Financially troubled Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP lost two more partners Tuesday, as a group of four transactional attorneys joined DLA Piper's corporate and finance practice as partners in New York.

John Altorelli will serve as co-chairman of DLA Piper's U.S. finance practice and as a member of the executive committee, according to the firm. He is joined by ex-Dewey partner Alexander Fraser and former Dewey of counsel Patrick Costello and Gerald Francese, bringing the number of partner departures at Dewey since January to 39.
