Plaintiffs Fight Wal-Mart’s Bid For Protective Order

Law360, New York (August 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A proposed class of current and former employees of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has opposed a motion for a protective order by the retail giant to buy more time to turn over documents in their wage-and-hour dispute.

The proposed class on Wednesday urged the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California to deny the Bentonville, Ark.-based company’s motion for a protective order, claiming it was untimely because it was filed after the production was due.
