Kodak Seeks Retiree Committee, Sinks Bid To Cut Benefits

Law360, New York (April 4, 2012, 5:25 PM EDT) -- Eastman Kodak Co. on Wednesday asked a New York bankruptcy judge to appoint a committee of retired employees in its Chapter 11 case, while it said it was withdrawing a Feb. 27 motion to curtail coverage for Medicare-eligible retirees.

Kodak's dual move comes after retirees on March 13 filed an objection to the company’s request to terminate medical benefits for some retirees and requested their own committee in the Chapter 11 case.
