DOJ Litigation Ace Named Acting Head Of Antitrust Unit

Law360, New York (April 5, 2012, 6:21 PM EDT) -- Attorney General Eric Holder tapped litigation ace Joseph Wayland on Thursday to be acting assistant attorney general for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division after Sharis A. Pozen departs the post at the end of April.

Wayland’s appointment comes as President Barack Obama waits for his nominee for the post, William Baer of Arnold & Porter LLP, to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
