BP Investors Ask 9th Circ. To Revive Alaska Spill Suit

Law360, New York (April 6, 2012, 5:20 PM EDT) -- A putative class of shareholders that accused BP PLC of lying to investors about a corroding Alaska pipeline whose ultimate shutdown triggered a drop in share prices that cost them billions asked the Ninth Circuit on Thursday to revive its case.

The putative lead plaintiffs in the case filed a notice of appeal informing the Washington federal court that they would be taking the case to the Ninth Circuit, its second go before the appeals court.
