Bill Looks To Boost Calif. Clean Energy Exports

Law360, San Diego (April 6, 2012, 8:43 PM EDT) -- A California Senate panel on Tuesday plans to examine legislation that seeks to provide loan guarantees for small clean energy companies and agricultural businesses in an effort to jump-start export development.

The Governmental Organization Committee is set to review S.B. 1465, proposed on Feb. 24 by Sen. Leland Yee, D-San Francisco, that would create a new program to offer loan guarantees to small businesses that may have difficulty securing guarantees from other sources on their own.
