Delphi, United Steelworkers Make Tentative Deal

Law360, New York (August 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bankrupt auto parts maker Delphi Corp. has come to a tentative agreement with the United Steelworkers, potentially putting an end to the company's only remaining union negotiations, according to announcements by both parties Friday.

Delphi said it had signed a memorandum of understanding with the United Steelworkers and General Motors Corp. that would cover approximately 900 workers at two Ohio plants in Dayton and Vandalia.
