Casey's Reaches Settlement To Exit Hot Fuel MDL

Law360, New York (April 9, 2012, 4:16 PM EDT) -- Casey’s General Stores Inc. reached a settlement Friday in multidistrict litigation in Kansas federal court that accuses motor fuel manufacturers and gas stations including Chevron USA Inc. and Exxon Mobil Corp. of selling fuel without accounting for temperature expansion.

Terms of the settlement were not disclosed in a docket entry Friday in which U.S. District Judge Kathryn H. Vratil noted only that all claims against Casey’s in the MDL will be tossed when the settlement is approved by the court.
