Tenaska Locks In $500M Loan For 1st Foray Into Solar

Law360, New York (April 9, 2012, 3:46 PM EDT) -- U.S. power producer Tenaska Inc., known for its natural gas-fueled plants, has secured $500 million in loans from a group of Japanese, U.S. and European banks to build its first solar farm, the company said Monday.

The 130-megawatt Imperial County Solar Energy Center South is one of two utility-scale solar projects Tenaska is building in Southern California.
