Sunoco Pays $2.2M To End Tank Leak Payment Row

Law360, New York (April 9, 2012, 3:03 PM EDT) -- Sunoco Inc. will pay the state of Massachusetts $2.2 million to settle state False Claims Act allegations that the company sought payments for hazardous waste cleanup at its gas stations at the same time it sought reimbursement from its insurers, state authorities said Monday.
