Group Fights Ill. Campaign Finance Laws In 7th Circ.

Law360, Chicago (April 10, 2012, 6:56 PM EDT) -- An attorney for independent advocacy group Center for Individual Freedom told the Seventh Circuit on Tuesday that his client has stifled its political speech because of improperly vague and overbroad registration and disclosure provisions in Illinois' campaign finance laws, which the group wants declared invalid.
