Calif. Panel Snubs Alternative Work Schedule Bills

Law360, San Diego (April 11, 2012, 5:56 PM EDT) -- Two bills carried by a Republican state senator proposing to encourage more companies to offer flexible work schedules to their employees were rejected by a California Senate panel on Wednesday after labor groups complained that the legislation would put workers at a disadvantage.
