Ad Group Vetoes ConAgra's Lasagna Comparison With Nestle

Law360, New York (April 11, 2012, 8:04 PM EDT) -- A self-regulatory body for the advertising industry said Wednesday it had advised ConAgra Foods Inc. to stop claiming that consumers prefer one of its lasagna products over a Nestle USA Inc. lasagna product, saying the nature and size of the products were too different.

Nestle challenged two advertising claims made by ConArga comparing ConAgra's Marie Callender's frozen three meat and four cheese lasagna to Nestle's 19-ounce Stouffer's frozen lasagna product.
