Law360, New York (April 11, 2012, 9:58 PM EDT) -- USA Performance Technology Inc. and one of its co-owners on Wednesday pled not guilty to criminal charges over their alleged role in a scheme to steal DuPont Co.’s secret paint pigment process for rivals backed by the Chinese government.

Walter Liew, who owns California-based chemical technology company USA Performance with his wife, Christina Liew, pled not guilty to charges that he signed contracts worth more than $20 million to send trade secrets to Chinese state-owned enterprise Pangang Group Co.
