Apple, HTC, RIM, Samsung Sued Over Touch Screen Patents

Law360, New York (April 12, 2012, 1:36 PM EDT) -- A Texas company sued Apple Inc., HTC Corp., Research In Motion Corp. and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. on Wednesday, claiming the companies' smartphones and tablets, including the iPad and BlackBerry Torch, infringed patents covering touch screen technology. 

Touchscreen Gestures LLC filed four separate suits in Texas federal court accusing the electronics manufacturers of making, selling and importing smartphones and tablets that infringe four of its patents covering the drag, tap and scroll motions used on touch screen devices.
