DOL Pushes Back Deadline For Comments On FMLA Changes

Law360, New York (April 12, 2012, 8:17 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Labor on Thursday extended the comment period for its proposed amendments to the Family and Medical Leave Act that would expand the law’s unpaid medical leave provisions to military families and airline flight crew employees.

After receiving several requests to extend the comment period, the DOL’s Wage and Hour Division agreed it would give interested parties an additional two weeks and accept comments through April 30.
