Dewey's Latest Partner Loss Comes In LA

Law360, Los Angeles (April 13, 2012, 5:22 PM EDT) -- Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP confirmed Friday that a partner in its Los Angeles office has jumped ship to Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth PC, upping the total number of partners who have defected this year to 51.

David Smith will continue to focus his practice on corporate transactions, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital, Stradling said in a statement. Smith previously worked in Dewey's corporate M&A practice groups focusing on corporate transactions.
