Allergan Eyes Generics Makers In Glaucoma Patent Row

Law360, New York (April 16, 2012, 5:17 PM EDT) -- Allergan Inc. hit Watson Laboratories Inc., Apotex Inc. and four Novartis AG affiliates on Friday with a patent infringement suit in Texas federal court over glaucoma treatment Combigan, marking a new battle over the heavily litigated eyedrops.


The complaint names as defendants Watson, Apotex, and Novartis affiliates Sandoz Inc., Alcon Laboratories Inc., Alcon Research Ltd. and Falcon Pharmaceuticals Ltd., but does not name Novartis.
