Visto, Microsoft Ask To Settle Some Patent Claims

Law360, New York (August 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Saying that they had reached an agreement in the ongoing litigation over server-to-mobile syncing, Microsoft Corp. and e-mail software maker Visto Corp. on Friday jointly asked a federal court to dismiss various patent claims from the case.

Visto and Microsoft agreed to not pursue certain claims and counterclaims in the trial, and told the court that they no longer needed construction on certain claim terms on three of Microsoft's patents and two of Visto's.
