Law360, New York (April 16, 2012, 3:50 PM EDT) -- A U.S. Department of Energy audit report released last week found that Savannah River Nuclear Solutions LLC skirted government oversight by awarding unauthorized noncompetitive contracts to a pair of parent companies and increasing their budget ceilings by almost $50 million.
