NJ Consumer Watchdog Relaxes Font Rule For Ad Disclaimers

Law360, New York (April 16, 2012, 7:25 PM EDT) -- Responding to the concerns of AT&T Inc. affiliates, New Jersey's consumer watchdog is undoing a regulatory change that called for a 10-point size minimum for disclaimers that businesses make in their advertising, according to a Monday notice in the state register.

The change was one of several amendments to the administrative rules of the state Division of Consumer Affairs that were proposed in May 2011 and effective in January.
