Tenn. Court Suggests Slashing $44M Ford Seat Belt Award

Law360, New York (April 17, 2012, 2:01 PM EDT) -- A Tennessee appeals court on Friday affirmed a product liability judgment against Ford Motor Co. for catastrophic injuries suffered by a 6-year-old during a head-on car crash, but remanded the case with a recommendation to reduce the judgment from $43.8 million to $12.9 million.
