J&J Sued Over Death Of Baby Who Took Recalled Tylenol

Law360, New York (April 17, 2012, 5:39 PM EDT) -- Johnson & Johnson was hit with a wrongful death suit in Illinois state court Monday by parents claiming bacteria-tainted Tylenol that was part of a massive recall in April 2010 caused their infant's death shortly after a doctor deemed him a “well child.”

Malgorzata and Michael Cherry launched the suit against Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiary McNeil-PPC Inc. in Illinois Circuit Court in Cook County, claiming it aggressively promoted Tylenol made at its Fort Washington, Pa., facility despite the plant's documented dangerous, substandard conditions....
