Judge Tosses Some Claims In Stent Suit

Law360 (August 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Rival medical device makers Boston Scientific Corp. and Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Cordis Corp. have split a decision in their ongoing battle over the patents for heart stents, with the court tossing some claims in the case but keeping the rest alive.

The decision, handed down on Tuesday by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, granted in part Cordis' motion for summary judgment.
