ITC Lifts Duties On Chinese Tractor-Trailer Wheels

Law360, New York (April 17, 2012, 6:30 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission on Tuesday found that the sale of steel truck wheels from China for submarket prices in the U.S. is not harmfully impacting the domestic industry, ending tariffs on the merchandise.

Though the U.S. Department of Commerce determined last month that the Chinese manufacturers were accepting subsidies from their government that allowed them to sell the wheels at prices below market level, the ITC found that these subsidies have not had an adverse material effect on the domestic industry.
