Texas Atty Gets 1 Year For Role In Judicial Bribery Scheme

Law360, New York (April 17, 2012, 9:44 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge on Monday sentenced an attorney to a year in prison after he admitted to abetting extortion by a former state judge who was convicted for accepting bribes from attorneys in return for delivering civil rulings in their favor.
