MDL Panel Transfers All Clarinex Cases To N.J.

Law360 (August 23, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A trio of patent infringement lawsuits involving Schering-Plough Corp.'s allergy medication Clarinex has been consolidated by the judicial panel on multidistrict litigation and sent to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

“On the basis of the papers filed and hearing session held, we find that these three actions involve common questions of fact, and that centralization...will serve the convenience of the parties and witnesses and promote the just and efficient conduct of this litigation,” the panel said in a transfer order filed...
