Ex-Honey Import Worker Admits Role In $1.5M Duty Scheme

Law360, Chicago (April 23, 2012, 7:16 PM EDT) -- A former honey import worker pled guilty Friday in Illinois federal court to her role in a scheme to duck nearly $1.5 million in anti-dumping duties by falsely declaring the origin of Chinese honey, striking a plea deal ahead of a trial set to begin Monday.
