Window Defect Suits Merged Over Manufacturer's Objection

Law360, Chicago (April 24, 2012, 3:44 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation on Monday centralized in South Carolina five putative class actions alleging that MI Windows and Doors Inc. made defective windows that caused water leaks, rejecting the defendant's argument that the suits were too different to form an MDL.
