Fortune 500 Companies Sued Over Web Patent

Law360, New York (August 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Patent-holding company Constellation IP LLC has sued 29 companies across an array of industries for allegedly infringing on its patent for a “computer generated presentation system,” used to display information on Web sites.

The defendants include Allstate Insurance Co., Capital One Financial Corp., Continental Airlines Inc., Hilton Hotels Corp., Hampton Inns Inc., Doubletree Hotels Corp., Conrad Hotels USA Inc., Blockbuster Inc., Netflix Inc., Countrywide Financial Corp., Southwest Airlines Co., E*Trade Financial Corp., Ameritrade Inc., Match.com LLC, IAC/Interactive Corp., Fidelity Brokerage Services LLC, National Financial Services LLC...
