Transgender Workers Are Protected By Title VII, EEOC Says

Law360, New York (April 24, 2012, 6:01 PM EDT) -- Discrimination against transgender individuals constitutes sex discrimination in violation of Title VII, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said in a landmark decision released Monday to attorneys representing a job applicant denied a position by a federal agency.
