Millennium Says Ameritox Libeled It In Press Release

Law360, New York (April 25, 2012, 7:37 PM EDT) -- Medical testing company Millennium Laboratories Inc. accused rival Ameritox Ltd. of false advertising and libel in California federal court Monday, ratcheting up their already heated legal war over alleged kickbacks to doctors and false marketing campaigns.

According to Millennium, an April 19 press release issued by Ameritox contained false, misleading and defamatory remarks about Millennium, including that the company pays kickbacks to doctors by offering urine drug-detection supplies and services at no cost or below-market rates.
