NJ Court Backs Verdict For Hasbro In Nerf Defect Suit

Law360, New York (April 25, 2012, 5:33 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey appeals court on Wednesday backed a judgment for Hasbro Inc. in a lawsuit claiming one of its Nerf toy guns is unsafe, rejecting challenges over hearsay testimony and jury instructions in the case.

In an across-the-board victory for Hasbro, the appeals court shot down the plaintiff's arguments that the trial court committed several errors, including a decision to instruct the jury on comparative fault.
