NY Republicans Hop On Facebook Privacy Train

Law360, New York (April 27, 2012, 2:11 PM EDT) -- Legislation protecting employees' and prospective employees' social media profiles on sites like Facebook and Twitter from prying bosses appeared poised to cruise through New York's legislature Friday as a top Senate Republican took up the cause first espoused by minority Democrats.

Buffalo Republican Sen. Mark Grisanti introduced a bill that is similar to legislation first introduced earlier in April by Manhattan Democrat Sen. Liz Krueger.
