Insurers Try To Dump Electric Co.'s Waste Cleanup Coverage Suit

Law360, New York (April 27, 2012, 8:08 PM EDT) -- American Home Assurance Co. and other insurers asked a New York federal judge Friday to cut them from Narragansett Electric Co.'s suit seeking coverage for cleanup of gas byproduct wastes, saying the event causing the environmental damage didn't occur during their policy periods.
