Fortress Says Ruskin Moscou Helped Dreier's Misdeeds

Law360, New York (May 2, 2012, 7:09 PM EDT) -- Fortress Investment Group LLC on Wednesday asked a New York state appeals court to keep alive allegations that Ruskin Moscou Faltischek PC's faulty work helped fraudster Marc Dreier steal $50 million from the investment management firm.

Fortress has alleged that Ruskin Moscou helped perpetuate Dreier's now-notorious Ponzi scheme by inking what turned out to be sham opinion letters that vouched for real estate mogul Sheldon Solow's company.
