Chemtura Demands More Info From Bandag

Law360, New York (August 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Chemtura Corp. has demanded that tire maker Bandag Inc. hand over more information about its claims of injury as the chemical manufacturer builds its defense in the multidistrict rubber chemicals antitrust litigation.

The Middlebury, Conn.-based company, which is accused of inflating rubber chemical prices in the United States, asked the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Wednesday to deny Bandag’s bid for a protective order and force the company to produce a witness to clarify information it has already provided.
