Bristol-Myers Can Seek $11M More In Stolen-Drug Insurance

Law360, New York (May 3, 2012, 6:20 PM EDT) -- A New York state judge ruled Thursday that Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. could try to recover roughly $10.6 million more from its insurers at Lloyd's of London for the hijacking of a truckload of its brand-name drugs en route to a Canadian affiliate.

In a bench ruling at the conclusion of a hearing, Judge Charles E. Ramos found that the insurance policy language showed the drugs should be valued at their ultimate sale price, and not at the price the Canadian affiliate had paid to the parent...
