Commerce Says Chinese Cos. Stopped Dumping A/C Valves

Law360, New York (May 4, 2012, 6:06 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce on Friday issued a preliminary ruling that two Chinese exporters had not sold air conditioner valves in the U.S. at below-market prices during the department's latest review of dumping duties placed on the products.

The agency said it didn't appear as though Zhejiang DunAn Hetian Metal Co. Ltd. and Zhejiang Sanhua Co. Ltd. had dumped front-seating service valves — components that allow air-conditioning equipment to comply with U.S. environmental regulations — onto the American market from April 2010 to March 2011....
