Salmonella Outbreak In 9 States Tied To Dog Food

Law360, New York (May 4, 2012, 3:57 PM EDT) -- Diamond Pet Foods Inc.'s dry dog food has been linked to a salmonella outbreak in nine states that has sickened 14 people, regulators said Thursday.

Five of the 14 patients have been hospitalized, though no deaths have been reported, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
