Inventor Accuses Sorenson Capital Of Holding Out On Royalties

Law360, New York (May 7, 2012, 3:12 PM EDT) -- The inventor of two popular craft tools said Wednesday that private equity firm Sorenson Capital Partners LP had concocted a scheme to deprive her of contractually deserved royalties to boost the returns on its investment in Provo Craft & Novelty Inc.

Sorenson Capital sidestepped Desiree Tanner's contract to spearhead an ongoing effort to withhold her cut of Provo Craft's sales, according to the suit filed in California district court.
