White House Seeks To Clear Up Contractor Misconceptions

Law360, New York (May 7, 2012, 8:14 PM EDT) -- The White House's Office of Federal Procurement Policy issued its second "myth-busting" memo to contractors Monday, seeking to improve collaboration between agencies and their private partners by debunking misconceptions about how contractors should interact with the government.

The OFPP started its myth-busters campaign with a February 2011 memo to address misconceptions held by federal agencies. The new memo aims to expand that dialogue by addressing eight commonly held contractors' misconceptions, giving advice to help vendors improve their proposals.
