Radiologists Say Actions Were Not Anti-Competitive

Law360 (September 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Three New York medical imaging facilities have scoffed at accusations that they conspired to keep a stranglehold on competition for their services, saying their behavior was neither anti-competitive nor illegal.

According to the lawsuit's amended complaint, filed in July by Medical Diagnostic Imaging Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the defendants conspired to keep competing facilities like MDI outside a benefits management network and had thereby cornered the market for medical imaging.
